ISLAMABAD, Nov. 30 (INP-WealthPK) — Gem exports climbed by 98.59% during the first four months of the fiscal year 2022–23 compared to the exports of the goods during the same time last year, according to figures issued by the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics.
Gems were exported for $3,797,000 from July to October 2022, in comparison to the $1,912,000 in exports made during the same time the previous year.
Jewelry exports climbed by 18.70% to $3,840,000 from $3,235,000 in the same period of the previous year.
Similarly, exports of furniture surged by 93.61% and totaled $5,386,000 during the current fiscal year, as opposed to $2,782,000 during the same period the previous year.
Cement exports also climbed by 1.25% during the review period, totaling $66,270,000 in the current fiscal year, compared to exports of $65,451,000 during the same period last year.
