LAHORE, Dec. 14 (INP-WealthPK)—The Punjab government will launch a mobile App in the current month to ensure the monitoring of revenue offices and provide the online land record to people, WealthPK reports.

Talking to various delegations here, Provincial Minister for Revenue Nawabzada Mansoor Ahmad Khan said that Punjab Land Record Authority (PLRA) Mobile App would provide various facilities to people, including land records, e-registration and a WhatsApp call centre. He added that the App would enable people to identify property records.

He said that at the time of transfer of property transfer, the field team of the revenue department would go to the spot and ensure the process of possession and release of the ownership record of land and registration of transfer of property would also be available on the App.

The minister said that awareness would be created among people so that they could benefit from the facility. He said that monitoring of the revenue offices would also be ensured through the mobile App. “Through it, an agreement between the two parties could be registered online,” he added.

He said that citizens would be able to view their registry and property documents online through the mobile App.

“The registration of rent agreements will also be possible through App, which will be integrated with the police department, excise and other institutions,” said the minister, according to a statement received by WealthPK.
