YouTube is planning to roll out a new feature that will allow select creators to go live with another guest creator on YouTube.

YouTube will let creators invite one guest at a time on their live stream, while TikTok’s feature allows up to five

The Creator Inside will only be available to co-stream using a phone, and not a desktop.

While guests can be rotated on Livestream, only one is allowed at a single time. In the upcoming weeks, some creators will be able to use this feature and go Live together, their stream feed showing above their guests while live.

To start a live stream, creators will be expected to fill in the information regarding the title, description, monetization settings, thumbnails, and visibility settings. After selecting a creator for the “Invite a co-streamer” option, guests will only have to click on the invite link to be sent into the waiting room.

YouTube will let advertisements run adverts on the guest streams, giving the revenue solely to the host only. Moreover, the stream won’t appear on the guest’s channel but the platform admits that visibilty is important for a creator and intends to introduce it in the near future.

TikTok recently introduced a similar Live feature on their platform, letting creators go live with up to five people. Twitch released the feature as well, letting creators go Live with multiple fans at the same time.
